"The Oakland Jazz Festival this year was a different experience than usual, unfortunately. The issues encountered were varied:
- The event started extremely late
- Artists' start times were poorly planned
- Audio quality was poor and frequently cut out
- I missed seeing Tedeschi Trucks Band because they came on late
- It would have been a great idea for Lalah Hathaway to perform with Robert Glasper, but it didn't happen
